OPPO has unveiled the OPPO A3s, an entry-level smartphone geared towards basic smartphone users with minimal requirements,
Powering the OPPO A3s is the Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset with Adreno 506 GPU. With 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 256GB via microSD), this budget phone promises lag-free operation with smoother UI transitions, multitasking, and switching between apps.
The OPPO A3s features a 6.2-inch Super Full Screen display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a notch that hosts the earpiece, frontal imaging sensor, proximity sensor and the notification light. Unfortunately, this phone doesn’t have Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
When it comes to imaging, the OPPO A3s has an impressive dual camera setup – a 13-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel secondary rear sensor – along with an LED flash for taking pictures and recording videos. The LED flash can also double as a torchlight for use in dark environments. The 8-megapixel snapper at the front is more than enough for taking high-quality selfies. You can beautify your pictures further with the AI Beauty 2.0 feature.
The OPPO A3s has a non-removable Li-Ion 4,230mAh battery that can last up to 18 hours from a single charge. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped under the proprietary ColorOS 5.1 skin.
The OPPO A3s is available in fashionable red and dark purple color options with a price tag of P6,990. You can buy this affordable phone at OPPO concept stores and dealers nationwide.
