The University of the Philippines Organization of Business Economics Majors (UP OBEM) is holding a business convention called The Pitch: Promoting Innovations. The convention aims to gather the most innovative minds in the Philippine startup community and give them the opportunity to pitch their startups to investors who can help them jumpstart their ventures.
The event will be held on November 10, 2018 at the UP School of Economics in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
Local startups that are in the seed stage to later stage, from any industry, are invited to submit their business pitches. The deadline for submission is on October 26, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. (Philippine time).
All business pitch entries will be pooled and screened, and the top 20 startups will be invited to the event on November 10 to present their business pitches in front of investors that include Original Pitch Venture Capital, Main Angel Investors Network, The Team Aguhon and Mr. Richard Verdera.
Here’s how to submit your business pitch:
- Submit a PDF file of your business pitch containing the following:
- Name of the business
- Contact person
- Contact number
- A brief description of the business
- Business pitch
- Email your entry to [email protected] with the subject “Business Pitch Entry of [NAME OF BUSINESS]”
