Budget hotel chain ZEN Rooms has just recently opened more than 400 new rooms in Manila, in partnership with Selah Hotels. With this partnership, ZEN Rooms is now the largest hotel chain in the metropolis.

ZEN Rooms launched in the Philippines four years ago and has since then grown to become the biggest budget hotel chain in the country. The company now operates more than 4,500 rooms all over the archipelago, as well as over 10,000 rooms across Southeast Asia. The hotel chain plans to open more rooms in places like Baguio, Tagaytay, Baler and La Union by the end of 2019.

The company’s goal is to standardize the hotel industry in the Philippines. It does so by working with small budget hotels, helping them their streamline operations and improve their visibility within the local and international market.

With the country’s tourism continuing to grow year by year, so does the demand for affordable accommodation. ZEN Rooms aims to fill this demand by providing quality accommodation matched with the best hospitality practices.

ZEN Rooms now fully manages the newly opened ZEN Rooms Selah Lofts with 205 budget rooms in Harrison Street, Pasay City.

The ZEN Rooms Selah Pods rooms are located above the ZEN Rooms Selah Lofts. The ZEN Rooms Selah Pods has 108 rooms with access to the rooftop infinity pool, restaurant and bar with a 360-degree view of the city skyline.

The ZEN Premium Selah Garden Pasay located at Park Avenue gives you a more luxurious experience with nearly 100 well-appointed rooms. It is the only hotel in Metro Manila to offer high rope activities such as wall climbing and ziplining. The property is ideal for group bookings with its large rooms that are good for 6, 8 or even 10 persons.

“We are very excited to announce this partnership today. When ZEN Rooms expanded here in 2015, our goal was just to fix the fragmented budget hotel industry. Now, four years later, being the largest hotel chain in the Philippines, our reach has lengthened and our purpose has deepened,” Michael Raquiza, Country Manager of ZEN Rooms Philippines, said. “We are here to build relationships with hotel owners and support local businesses and we believe that our partnership with hotels like the Selah group exemplifies just that. Together, we improve value-for-money so that our guest can travel more and pay less.”

“ZEN Rooms has been very effective in terms of tapping the online market and selling our rooms to a wider audience online. I look forward to what more ZEN Rooms can do to elevate our hotels further especially in the international market,” Jeff Thomas, Managing Director of Selah Hotels, said.

ZEN Rooms customers can book a room for as low as ₱499 a night, which includes free WiFi, cool aircon, hot shower, spotless beds and 24/7 customer care. Visit the ZEN Rooms website at www.zenrooms.com for more information.
