Sending your hard-earned money to your family and loved ones just got easier with the new GCash Padala. Now you can send money to anyone even if they don’t have a GCash account. No need to head over to the nearest money remittance outlet just to send cash, when you can do it quickly and conveniently on your smartphone!

We all know how frustrating it is to know that you can’t send money to a friend or loved one because they don’t have a GCash account. Instead of asking them to sign up for GCash, why not send the money through GCash Padala? Your recipient doesn’t need to have a GCash account to claim the money you’ve sent through GCash Padala.

GCash Padala is the brand-new money remittance service that allows all GCash users to send money to anyone in the Philippines. To send money via GCash Padala, all you have to do is to enter the recipient’s name and mobile number on the GCash app. The recipient can then claim the money at a GCash Padala partner establishment.

With this new remittance service, GCash aims to serve the financial needs of millions of Filipinos who don’t have access to the GCash platform, especially those without smartphones or an Internet connection. Currently, these customers are being served by established money remittance firms such as Palawan Express Pera Padala and M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala.

The main advantage of GCash Padala over traditional money remittance services is that you don’t have to visit the remittance center to send money. All you need is a verified GCash account and you can send money to virtually anyone in the Philippines. Obviously, the recipient needs to personally claim the money at a GCash Padala partner outlet, but it’s way more convenient and hassle-free than going to a remittance center or pawnshop to send money.

If you don’t have a GCash account yet, you may check out this guide to learn how to sign up for a free GCash account and to verify it. You may also want to know how to add money or cash in to your GCash wallet by reading this article.

Final Thoughts

GCash Padala definitely makes it easy to send money to anyone without a GCash account, simply using your GCash wallet. This is great news for those who don’t use GCash because they don’t have the know-how or because they don’t have a suitable device that can run the app.

The only downside is that GCash Padala only has relatively few outlets compared to other remittance companies, mostly made up of small sari-sari stores. Hopefully, the number of partner outlets will continue to grow as the remittance service gains traction among the millions of GCash users nationwide.

If you have any questions or concerns about GCash Padala, don’t hesitate to contact GCash by calling the toll-free hotline 2882 or by emailing [email protected].
