Are you having problems with your GCash transfer, cash-in or withdrawal? Instead of ranting about it on social media, you may call the GCash hotline number to get much-needed support and assistance. There are several ways to contact GCash customer service through telephone, email and chat to help resolve any issues you are having.
While GCash is arguably the most popular mobile wallet app in the Philippines, it is not without its share of problems. Some GCash customers complain that their cash transactions take a long time to complete. There are also reports of funds failing to arrive at the recipient’s account as well as errors when logging in or adding money.
But before you pick up the phone to call the GCash hotline, it’s better to consult the GCash Help Center website first. Chances are, you will find the solution to your problem there. Only call the GCash hotline or submit a support ticket if you can’t find the answer in the GCash Help Center.
Keep in mind that GCash phone and chat support are only available during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, you can still submit a support ticket or send an email outside of business hours. GCash customer support usually takes 24-48 hours to respond to emails and tickets.
By the way, GCash no longer accepts inquiries and support requests via Facebook and Messenger. Beware of any Facebook page that pretends to be GCash customer support. Only follow the official GCash page and don’t entertain messages from pages pretending to represent GCash to avoid getting scammed.
GCash will not ask for your MPIN. Anyone who asks for your MPIN is most likely a scammer looking to gain access to your GCash account. Do not give your MPIN for whatever reason, even if the customer support representative asks for it.
Use the GCash App
What better way to ask for support than within the GCash app itself? Just open the GCash app and tap the menu icon. Select Help on the sliding menu to access the Help Center.
You have the option to chat with a GCash customer service agent or to submit a ticket. To submit a support ticket, tap Submit a Ticket and enter the required information.
You can check for updates on your support tickets on the Help Center page. You will also be informed via email when you get an update on your ticket.
If your support request is urgent, you may call the GCash hotline number 2882 to speak to a customer service representative. The GCash hotline is available everyday from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is toll-free for Globe subscribers.
PLDT, Smart and other non-Globe subscribers may call (02) 7730-2882. Airtime and long-distance charges may apply.
Submit a Support Ticket
You can also submit a support ticket on the GCash Help Center page. Click Submit a Ticket or go to this page for the online form. Enter your email address, full name, GCash-registered mobile number, concern or problem, and attachments, if any.
To expedite your support request, be sure to include as many details as possible. For example, if your cash-in transaction failed, you may include the following details in the form:
- Cash-in Channel
- Exact Amount
- Date and Time of Transaction
- Transaction ID or Reference Number
You can also attach screenshots of your transaction in the GCash app as evidence.
You will receive an update to your ticket via email within 24 hours. To respond, simply reply to the email directly.
Send an Email

If you have a Twitter account, you can tweet or send a direct message to the official GCash page on Twitter @gcashofficial. Include your ticket number if you have already submitted a support ticket.
Getting your GCash issues resolved shouldn’t be a problem as long as you know where to get help. Whether it is through phone, email or chat, there’s a support channel that will assist you with your issue or concern with GCash.
Bear in mind that GCash sometimes takes a long time to respond to your queries due to the number of cases they are handling, so please be patient and wait for a customer support representative to attend to your concern. If you haven’t received a response after 2-3 days, you can raise the issue on their official Twitter account.
