The Esports Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 Creator Program, the largest co-streaming push in esports history, offering $2 million in rewards to creators who co-stream the Esports World Cup (EWC) and the newly launched Esports Nations Cup (ENC).
Esports fans and content creators who stream on YouTube, Twitch, or other major platforms can apply now. The program supports Twitch, YouTube, Bilibili, Huya, and CHZZK, making it accessible to Filipino streamers who already have audiences on those platforms. The Philippines has one of the most active esports communities in Southeast Asia, and programs like this give local creators a direct shot at global visibility – plus actual cash and gear rewards.
The 2026 program aims to scale from 3,500 co-streamers in 2025 to 5,000 this year, spreading across more regions, languages, and platforms. Approved creators can co-stream their chosen tournaments, complete missions, and climb leaderboards tied to a Battle Pass system. Rewards range from gift cards, gaming gear, and consoles to streaming-platform perks and invitations to attend EWC and ENC in person.
Wasae Imran, Director of Broadcast and Distribution at the Esports Foundation, put it plainly: “This isn’t just an esports trend; it’s a media trend. Across music, video, news and sport, audiences don’t just watch what they’re given anymore. They choose their own experience: what to watch, where to focus, and how deep to go. Esports just lives further down that road than most, and traditional sport is heading the same way. It’s not about delivering a match in one format, it’s about opening up every way into the same moment and letting fans choose how they want to consume it.”
The program covers both the EWC 2026 in Paris – running July 6 through August 23 – and the ENC 2026 in Riyadh this November. The ENC is the first nation-based esports competition of its kind, meaning creators can co-stream while explicitly representing their countries. That’s a big deal for Filipino creators, since Team Philippines has historically been a strong presence at international esports events.
EWC 2026 features 25 tournaments across 24 games, a prize pool north of $75 million, and more than 2,000 players from over 100 countries. Applications for the Creator Program are open now at esportsworldcup.com/en/creator-program.
