The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reminded members under Group 3 of its UPLIFT assistance program that the next tranche will go only to those who remain qualified.
In a follow-up post on its Facebook page, DSWD said members will receive the next tranche if they are “kwalipikado pa rin” (still qualified) in the program. The agency added that members who do not receive it may not meet the Group 3 qualifications, or their names may have been found in another group of UPLIFT beneficiaries.

The post follows DSWD’s October 7 announcement that Group 3 members who received the first tranche will have the second credited by October 16, 2026. Members who updated or activated their SSS disbursement account on or before October 5 will receive both tranches by the same date. DSWD has not said how eligibility is rechecked between tranches, and the post does not describe an appeal process.
Group 3 covers employed low-income earners with a monthly salary credit below ₱20,000 who have remitted at least one contribution to the SSS in 2025 or 2026 and have an active SSS disbursement account. Qualified members receive ₱2,000 monthly for six consecutive months from July to December.
Factors tied to eligibility
The reminder names two reasons for a missing payout: not meeting Group 3 qualifications, and being listed under another UPLIFT group. It does not specify which Group 3 conditions could change.
Based on the criteria officials have published, the following determine eligibility. DSWD has not said which, if any, are rechecked.
- Listing under another UPLIFT group, such as Group 1 or Group 2, as the DSWD post states.
- Employment status: Members must be currently employed.
- Monthly salary credit above the program ceiling, which officials have cited as ₱20,000.
- Disbursement account status: Group 3 payouts go to the member’s enrolled SSS disbursement account, and members without one were not part of the initial batch.
- Records matching: DSWD matched SSS data with the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) database to identify qualified beneficiaries.
SSS officials have encouraged members to keep their email addresses, mobile numbers, and disbursement accounts updated through the My.SSS portal. Members who believe they qualify but have not received the money may call the SSS hotline at 1455, email [email protected], or visit an SSS branch.
DSWD has set October 16, 2026 as the crediting date for the second tranche.
