The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said the second tranche of UPLIFT cash assistance has been credited to the SSS disbursement accounts of Group 3 beneficiaries on October 23 and 24, 2026.
The agency announced the release on its official Facebook page on Saturday. The notice is addressed to Group 3 members who already received their first tranche and were still waiting for the second.

The announcement does not say which monthly payout the second tranche covers, or how many beneficiaries received it. It also does not say whether members who have not yet received the money should expect a later release.
UPLIFT stands for Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport. The program is part of the government’s response to the national energy emergency amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. It is meant to reach 7.5 million households through three beneficiary groups, which the DSWD and the Social Security System (SSS) manage jointly.
Group 3 is the SSS group. It covers employed workers with a monthly salary credit below ₱20,000 who paid at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026 and have an active SSS disbursement account. The program targets 1.5 million qualified SSS members. If two or more qualified members belong to the same household based on CBMS records, only the oldest receives the aid. The SSS has said pensioners are not covered.
Qualified Group 3 beneficiaries are set to receive ₱2,000 a month from July to December 2026 through their registered disbursement accounts, or up to ₱12,000 over the six months. Unlike Groups 1 and 2, they do not need to report to payout venues. The DSWD has said Group 3 beneficiaries are notified by email, and the money goes directly into their SSS disbursement accounts.
The first release reached many members in late July and early August. The initial batch numbered 978,290 beneficiaries, employed SSS members whose records were matched with the Philippine Statistics Authority’s Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). The DSWD said it was still working to identify other qualified low-income SSS members without disbursement accounts, with the aim of covering the full 1.5 million. That means some eligible members may have been paid later than the first batch.
The DSWD asked beneficiaries to follow its official page, @dswdserves, for updates. Members who expected a payment and do not see it should check the notifications tied to their SSS disbursement account and the SSS’s own announcements. The DSWD has said beneficiaries were already identified using government records, and no application is needed.
Four more monthly payouts remain under the program’s July to December schedule, if the original timetable holds. The DSWD has not announced dates for them.
