The FutureSmart College Scholarship is accepting applications for Academic Year 2026–2027 until October 24, 2026. DigiPlus Foundation, the program’s sponsor, plans to award 300 scholarship slots to Filipino fourth-year college students taking IT or communications degree programs. Each scholar receives ₱100,000 in educational support for the school year, to be paid out monthly.
DigiPlus Foundation is the social development arm of DigiPlus Interactive Corp., the company behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone. It operated as BingoPlus Foundation until February 2026, when the company renamed it. FutureSmart started under the old name as a smaller program. In early 2025 it had 60 scholars nationwide, and new applicants were taken in through partners such as SM Foundation and STI Foundation. The current cycle opens applications to students directly and raises the target to 300.

Who is Eligible for the FutureSmart College Scholarship
An applicant must meet all these requirements:
- Be a Filipino citizen living in the Philippines.
- Be a 4th-year student for AY 2026–2027 at a state university or college (SUC), a local university or college (LUC), or a private college or university.
- Be enrolled in an IT-related or communications-related degree program.
- Have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85%, or its equivalent, for AY 2025–2026.
- Have parents or guardians whose combined gross monthly income is ₱40,000 or below.
- Show good moral character and leadership potential.
The foundation says that it cannot accommodate 1st- to 3rd-year students or students in other fields this cycle. It adds that eligibility may expand in later cycles.
Schools that use a 1.0 to 5.0 grading scale should note that the 85% threshold is stated “or equivalent.” Applicants should look up their school’s own conversion table, which is usually printed on the transcript or in the student handbook.

Eligible Degree Programs
The foundation groups eligible programs into two categories. Both lists end with an “other related programs” item, so the examples below are not complete.
IT-Related Programs
- Information Technology
- Computer Science / Computer Engineering
- Data Science / Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Game Development / Software Development
- Other IT-related programs
Communications-Related Programs
- Communication / Communication Arts
- Multimedia Arts / Multimedia Studies

Students in programs not on the list, such as Information Systems or Journalism, can email the scholarship team before the deadline to ask whether their course counts.
Scholarship Benefits
Each FutureSmart scholar receives ₱100,000 in educational support per school year. The money is released monthly instead of in a single payment. The foundation has not published the monthly amount or the exact number of releases.
Scholars also join non-financial programs on soft skills, leadership, and workplace readiness. Earlier cohorts took part in the P.L.U.S. (Pioneering Leadership and Uplifting Service) Factor sessions, which have covered growth mindset, habit-building, and personal branding. In August 2026, scholars also attended a general assembly that ended with a community service activity.
The scholarship doesn’t guarantee a job after graduation. Scholars may apply for openings at DigiPlus Interactive Corp. and its affiliates, but they go through the company’s usual screening and interviews like any other applicant.
Documentary Requirements
Applicants need to upload three required documents to the online form:
- Proof of household income. This can be the latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or payslip of the employed parent, guardian, or household member. Families without these can submit a Certificate of Indigency from the City or Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO or MSWDO).
- Enrolment form or school registration form for the current term.
- Proof of latest grades covering the last two semesters, or AY 2025–2026.
An optional upload field accepts supporting documents such as certificates of academic or extracurricular awards, and certifications of leadership positions or organization memberships.
Late or incomplete applications after October 24, 2026 will not be accepted.
