The Social Security System (SSS) will begin releasing up to ₱8,000 in financial assistance on October 30, 2026, to qualified members with a monthly salary credit (MSC) of ₱10,000 or below. The aid comes under the expanded coverage of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) UPLIFT program.
The assistance consists of four tranches of ₱2,000 each. The SSS will credit the money directly to the registered SSS disbursement accounts of qualified members.
Who qualifies
The SSS said an MSC of ₱10,000 or below does not automatically entitle a member to UPLIFT Assistance. Members must meet three other conditions:
- They paid at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026.
- They are included in the Philippine Statistics Authority’s 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) database.
- They enrolled their disbursement accounts through the SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) within the prescribed period.
The SSS advised members to check their My.SSS accounts for official notifications on their eligibility.
Expanded coverage
The DSWD, in coordination with the SSS, earlier expanded the program to cover members with an MSC of ₱10,000 or below. Before the expansion, assistance was available to members with an MSC of up to ₱20,000.
Payout schedule
For members in the expanded group, the first release starts October 30. Eligible beneficiaries who have not received any UPLIFT assistance will receive the full ₱8,000 covering all four tranches. Those who already received the first two tranches, totaling ₱4,000, will receive an additional ₱4,000 for the third and fourth tranches. The SSS will credit these amounts simultaneously to the beneficiaries’ registered SSS disbursement accounts.
Separately, qualified members with an MSC of ₱20,000 are scheduled to receive the third and fourth tranches, totaling ₱4,000, on November 6, 2026. The DSWD released the first and second tranches earlier this year.
Members can confirm their eligibility and payout status through their My.SSS accounts.
