Have you ever wanted to “pasaload” to someone who has no prepaid load credits to reply to your text messages? You’re in luck because we will teach you how to pasaload in Smart and Talk ‘N Text or TNT. After reading this article, you will know how to share your extra load to your friends or family in need.

“Pasaload” is the Filipino term for “share a load” (“pasa” means “send” or “share”). Since the Philippines is the texting capital of the world, the buying and selling of cellphone load is big business in the country. Many Filipinos still purchase and consume prepaid load credits and subscribe to numerous text and call promos. The sending or sharing of prepaid load credits is commonplace.

Smart and TNT subscribers can pasaload or share their cellphone load to their friends and loved ones for as low as ₱2. Aside from cellphone load, Smart and TNT subscribers can also share text, call and Internet data promos.

How to Pasaload in Smart and TNT

It’s very easy to pasaload in Smart and TNT. Just follow the following syntax:

Recipient’s 11-digit number<space>Amount and send to 808

For example: 09123456789 10

pasaload in Smart

After sending the text message to 808, you will receive a confirmation message. Reply “YES” within 15 minutes to proceed with the transaction. Reply “NO” or just ignore the message to cancel the pasaload.

A ₱1 (one peso) transaction fee will be deducted from your load regardless of the amount sent. So before making a pasaload, make sure that you have at least an extra ₱1 to cover the transaction fee.

Pasaload Denominations and Validity

These are the pasaload denominations and their corresponding validity period (days before expiry):

How to Pasaload a Smart or TNT Promo

Do you know that you can also pasaload a Smart or TNT promo? This saves your recipient the time and effort to register for a Smart promo or package. You can simply register the text, call or Internet package yourself and send it to your friend and loved one at the same time.

To pasaload a Smart text, call or Internet promo, just use the following syntax:

Recipient’s 11-digit number<space>Keyword and send to 808

For example: 09123456789 AT10

These are the Smart and TNT promos that you can pasaload to others:

How to Pasaload as a Smart Postpaid Subscriber

If you’re a Smart postpaid or Smart Infinity subscriber, you can still pasaload to a Smart or TNT prepaid subscriber. The available denominations and validity are just the same.

To pasaload from a Smart postpaid account, just text the following syntax:

PASALOAD<space>Recipient’s 11-digit number<space>Amount and send to 808

For example: PASALOAD 09123456789 20

The pasaload amount plus the ₱1 (one peso) transaction fee will be charged on top of your monthly service fee.

There’s a cap limit to how much load a Smart postpaid subscriber can transfer in a month. This is to prevent possible fraud and abuse. This cap limit automatically refreshes every first day of the month.

These are the pasaload cap limits for Smart postpaid subscribers:

  • ₱300 – monthly service fee is less than or equal to ₱1,200 (except for Freedom plan, where pasaload is not available)
  • ₱500 – monthly service fee is greater than ₱1,200

How to Pasaload using Smart/TNT SIM

There’s another convenient way to pasaload in Smart and TNT using your SIM. Just open the SIM Toolkit (you can find it among your apps or sometimes in the Settings), select Load, select PasaLoad, and then tap Mobile Number. Enter the mobile number of the recipient and enter the amount to send.

You will then receive a confirmation message and you must reply with “YES” to proceed with the transaction.

How to Ask for Load From a Friend

Do you know that you can also ask for load from another Smart or TNT subscriber? To ask or request for load from a friend, just dial **808+<11-digit Smart number>. For example: **80809123456789.

Your friend will then receive a message with your request for load. He or she will need to reply YES for your request to be granted. Ask-for-load requests are valid until 12 midnight.

If your ask-for-load request is granted, you will receive ₱5 and your friend will be deducted ₱6 (including the ₱1 fee) from his prepaid load balance.

Did This Help You?

As you can see, it’s fairly easy to share your cellphone load in Smart or TNT. Should there be an urgent need to transfer your prepaid load to another Smart or TNT user, just follow the method mentioned in this article. Don’t forget to check your balance first to make sure that you have enough prepaid load credits to proceed with the transaction.

If you have any issues or concerns with the Smart pasaload service, just call the Smart customer service hotline *888.
