If you are a GSAT Satellite TV subscriber, you might be interested to know how to load your GSAT account using GCash. Maybe you can’t buy a prepaid card or purchasing one is too much of a hassle for you. Fortunately, you can easily load GSAT and GPinoy using GCash on your mobile phone so that you don’t have to go to the store.

GSAT (Global Satellite) is a direct-to-home satellite television provider in the Philippines with more than 200 local and international channels, including HBO, CNN, National Geographic, History Channel, Discovery, Cartoon Network, and many more. GSAT is a viable alternative to cable TV because it doesn’t require a coaxial or fiber-optic cable connection, instead relying on a satellite TV dish that is usually placed on the rooftop of your house or building.

To watch GSAT, users must have an active subscription plan which can be purchased online on their website or through prepaid cards that can be bought from authorized dealers. A more convenient option is to load your GSAT or GPinoy account using GCash. This involves purchasing load credits on the GCash app and then redeeming the load on the web loading portal.

In this article, I’ll teach you how to load GSAT or GPinoy using GCash by purchasing an electronic PIN on the GCash app and then redeeming it on the web loading portal. Make sure that you already know your GSAT box number because you’ll need it to redeem your PIN. You don’t need the box number, however, to buy load credits on the GCash app.

Step-by-Step Guide to Load GSAT via GCash

Loading your GSAT box using GCash is fairly simple and easy. If you don’t have a GCash account yet, you may read this article to learn how to open a GCash account and have it verified.

Follow these steps to load your GSAT Direct TV or GPinoy Satellite TV account using GCash:

Step 1: Open the GCash app on your mobile phone and login using your MPIN. Once logged in, tap “Load” on the home screen.

Tap "Load" in GCash

Step 2: On the “Buy Load” screen, tap the “Non Telco” tab as shown on the screenshot image below.

Enter or choose the mobile number (NOT the GSAT box number) where the PIN will be sent to. Press “Next” to continue.

Step 3: Select the “PayTV” tab on the load menu. You may have to swipe left to find it.

Choose any of the following load denominations:

  • GPinoy99 (GPinoy Box only) – 42 TV programs + 14 radio stations valid for 30 days
  • GSAT 200 (HD Box only) – 60 TV programs + 14 radio stations valid for 30 days
  • GSAT 300 (HD Box only) – 83 TV programs + 14 radio stations valid for 30 days
  • GSAT 500 (HD Box only) – 104 TV programs + 14 radio stations valid for 30 days

After selecting the GSAT load that you want to buy, press “Buy Now” to proceed.

Step 6: If payment is successful, GCash will send you two text messages: one informing you of the successful load transaction, and another one with your GSAT PIN.

It might take a few minutes for the text messages to arrive, so don’t worry if you haven’t received your PIN yet. If you didn’t receive the PIN after an hour, you may call the GCash hotline 2882 or email [email protected].

Once you’ve received your PIN, the next thing to do is to redeem it so that it will be credited to your GSAT account. Continue reading to learn how to redeem your load.

How to Redeem Your GSAT PIN

There are two ways to redeem your GSAT PIN and reload your box: through the web loading portal and via SMS.

How to Redeem GSAT PIN Using the Web Loading Portal

The GSAT web loading portal is a self-service online loading platform that allows you to redeem your purchased load credits and load them to your GSAT or GPinoy account.

Here are the steps to redeem your load on the web loading portal:

  1. Open the web loading portal.
  2. Enter the following required information:
    • Box No. – Enter your GSAT box number or serial number.

  3. Check the captcha box (“I’m not a robot”).
  4. Click “Submit.”

  • GSAT – Begins with 77405371 or 018 or 025.

You can also find your box number by pressing the “INFO” button on your remote control.

How to Refresh Your GSAT Box

Do you have load but you’re always encountering a “no access” or “no authorization” error? Then refresh your GSAT or GPinoy box to solve the issue. You can refresh your box on the GSAT website or via SMS.

To refresh your GSAT/GPinoy box, type a text message in the following format: REFRESH<space>BOX NUMBER.
