A free trip to South Korea could be one article and one quiz away! VisitKorea is giving away round-trip flights, and Filipinos can enter by reading an article and taking a quiz before November 22, 2026.
The campaign is run with the Korea Tourism Organization and NUUA INC. Three winners will each get two tickets. Another 50 winners will receive US$20 Amazon gift cards. Winners will be announced by email on November 25.
This isn’t VisitKorea’s first flight giveaway. A launch event for its VISITKOREA Exclusive content ran from July 20 to Aug. 19, 2026, with one round-trip ticket as the top prize. It was limited to non-Korean citizens. This round has more winners and a quiz for entry.
What it means for you
The good news first. The contest is open to foreign nationals who do not live in Korea, so if you’re in the Philippines, you can enter.
Now here’s the catch. The tickets are for regional airports only. Flights to or from Incheon, Gimpo and Jeju are excluded, which rules out the Seoul-area airports and Jeju. The article you read to enter covers two of the regional airports, Daegu and Cheongju.
The announcement doesn’t say how to reach those airports from the Philippines. Direct service between the two countries has grown. At the launch of Korea Travel Fiesta 2025, Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco cited new direct flights between South Korea and Cebu, Clark, Davao, Panglao and Kalibo. That report doesn’t name the Korean airports those routes serve, so winners will need to check schedules themselves.
The prize doesn’t include a visa either. VisitKorea says winners must get one on their own if their nationality requires it.
How to enter
Follow these steps to enter the contest:
- Read VisitKorea’s article on Korea’s regional airports, Daegu and Cheongju.
- Take the quiz linked to the event.
- Optional: screenshot the event page and share it on your social media pages to improve your chances.
- Enter between October 26 and November 22.
- Use a correct email address and check your inbox regularly. Winners are notified individually on November 25, and a winner who doesn’t respond within three days may lose the prize to the next participant.
Read the fine print
VisitKorea may ask winners for more personal information for flight booking and tax reporting. That includes country or region of residence, date of birth, passport number and the names of travel companions.
A winner who refuses to provide the required details may have the prize cancelled. With only three days to reply, it helps to have your passport and your companion’s details ready.
The tickets can’t be transferred to anyone else. They are valid through December 31, 2026, but exclude peak seasons and the Christmas holidays, so a December holiday trip is off the table. Winners are announced on November 25, which leaves about five weeks to travel.
Winners will be informed by email on November 25.
