Do you want to know when was the last time you paid your PhilHealth premium, and how many months you have paid your premiums? Thanks to the PhilHealth member inquiry facility, you can now check your PhilHealth contribution history online.
If you’re a member of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), you might already know that paying your PhilHealth contributions regularly and faithfully will make you eligible for benefits. This is because PhilHealth requires all members to have at least 9 months’ worth of contributions in the last 12 months immediately preceding confinement to be able to avail of benefits.
Imagine that you got injured or sick, only to discover that you failed to pay your premiums for several months. You certainly don’t want that scenario to happen because PhilHealth is such a huge help especially if you don’t have an emergency fund or savings.
Good thing that you can now check your PhilHealth contributions online. This ensures that your PhilHealth contributions are remitted properly and regularly by your employer. Or maybe you’re a self-employed or voluntary member who pays your PhilHealth premiums on your own dole. You can check your PhilHealth contribution payment history to make sure that your payments were received and recorded.
