If you got married recently, it’s highly recommended to change your civil status with the various government agencies that you are a member of, including the Home Development Mutual Fund or the Pag-IBIG Fund. Doing so ensures that your membership details are current and up-to-date.
After I got married last year, one of the first things I did was to update my (as well as my wife’s) personal information with the SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG. Not only I changed my civil status from “single” to “married,” I also updated my list of dependents to include my wife. As for my wife, I also updated her name from her maiden name to the new married one.
One of the challenges with updating my membership information is the fact that most Philippine government agencies don’t provide an online facility to do that yet. The Social Security System (SSS) allows its members to update their details through their website, but the same can’t be said for PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG.
But don’t worry because you can still change your marital status and update your information in Pag-IBIG – the manual, old-fashioned way. You just have to fill out a form indicating the details that you’d like to be amended, and then submit it personally to the Pag-IBIG Fund.

In order to update your Pag-IBIG membership details, you will need to accomplish the Member’s Change of Information Form (MCIF). You can either get the form from the nearest Pag-IBIG office, or download it from the Internet and print it.
For your ease and convenience, we’ve made the Pag-IBIG MCIF for you to download (just click the “Download” button). After downloading the form, print it on long bond paper (8″ x 13″). Only one copy of the form is required.
How to Fill Out the Pag-IBIG MCIF

With that out of the way, let’s go through the steps in properly accomplishing the Pag-IBIG MCIF.
