Globe now lets you order home fiber Internet through Grab – and have it installed the same afternoon. The telco launched GFiber Prepaid on GrabMart, letting customers buy the service through the Grab app and get an installer at the door in as fast as two hours (subject to serviceability).
The service is rolling out first in Pasig City, with Globe planning to expand to selected areas in Metro Manila and major cities in the Visayas and Mindanao.
The ₱699 package includes free installation and seven days of unlimited internet at speeds of up to 300 Mbps. It supports up to 15 devices at the same time. No documents are required to sign up, and the service is reloadable; users can top up when they need more time.
Abigail Cardino, Vice President and Head of Brand Management for Globe’s Broadband Business, described this as a first in the country. “Through our partnership with GrabMart, we’re launching the country’s first ‘order-and-install’ WiFi-on-demand model… This reflects our commitment to deliver faster, more flexible, and hassle-free internet that adapts to the evolving digital lifestyle of Filipinos,” she said.
Grab Philippines also weighed in on why the partnership made sense for their platform. “Reliable internet connection is now a basic household need, connecting students to learning, entrepreneurs to customers, and Filipinos to livelihood opportunities. Our pioneering partnership with Globe, bringing GFiber Prepaid into the Quick Commerce fold through GrabMart, makes this essential service more accessible to Filipino households,” said EJ dela Vega, Chief Commercial Officer of Grab Philippines. “This reinforces GrabMart’s role as a reliable gateway for everyday needs, from food and groceries to urgent supplies and now prepaid fiber connectivity, all delivered with speed, reliability, and ease,” he added.
Globe’s fiber-driven broadband business grew in Q1 2026, with subscribers reaching 2.2 million. Putting GFiber Prepaid on Grab – an app most Filipinos already use for food and groceries – is a push to pull in the households that still haven’t made the jump to home fiber.
Globe says the service targets work-from-home professionals, renters, gamers, streamers, and young households who want fast Internet without the paperwork or a long-term contract. The GrabMart listing is live now for those in Pasig, with the wider Metro Manila and Visayas rollout to follow.
