DITO Telecommunity, the Philippines’ third major telco, began commercial operations in selected cities in Cebu and Davao on March 8, 2021. A few days later, the company announced its initial list of DITO compatible phones that were tested and qualified by their tech teams.
In a Facebook post, DITO said that they are constantly testing phones and will be regularly updating the list of compatible phones on their website Dito.ph. The company also said that they have received feedback that some phone models can work with their network, and that they are validating them to ensure that the phones pass their internal tests and quality standards before adding them to the list.
DITO later clarified that mobile phones that are not included in the list can still access and enjoy the DITO network. DITO chief technology officer Rodolfo Santiago said that the phones in the list have “undergone a collaborative test of their compatibility to our network.” He assured customers that “the brands that have undergone this testing are 100% compatible.”
Santiago explained that mobile phones not in the list doesn’t mean that they are incompatible with the DITO network. It only means that those phones have not yet undergone a compatibility test.
If your phone model is not yet in the list of DITO compatible phones, don’t fret because there’s a big chance that your phone will be included in the list in the future. DITO Telecommunity is continuously testing various phone brands and models to determine their compatibility with the DITO network, so just wait for further updates to the list. DITO will announce updates to the list of compatible phones on their website and Facebook page.
Updated List of DITO Compatible Phones
Below is a list of DITO SIM compatible phones and handsets as of October 16, 2023. You can use the search feature to quickly find your phone model or brand.
We will update this list from time to time as soon as DITO updates their list of compatible handsets.
Is Your Phone in the List?
If your phone model is in the list of compatible phones, then congratulations, you can access and enjoy the DITO network. But if your mobile phone is not in the list, it’s still highly likely that you can use DITO’s services, but we suggest waiting for your phone to be included in the list before buying a DITO SIM card.
Of course, you have to be located in an area where DITO Telecommunity is already operational. Check out this page for a list of areas already covered by DITO.
If you are located in those areas and your phone is compatible with DITO, you can buy the DITO SIM card through the Dito.ph website.
