How to Send Money to Palawan Express Online Padala

You can now send money via Palawan Express Pera Padala using your computer or mobile phone

Palawan Express Pera Padala is one of the largest money remittance services in the Philippines. Many Filipinos use Palawan Express to send money to their family and loved ones due to its low remittance fees and a nationwide network of more than 5,000 branches. But do you know that you can send money to Palawan Express online without going to a Palawan Pawnshop branch?

That’s right! You don’t need to leave your home and visit a Palawan Express Padala branch or remittance outlet to send money to anyone in the Philippines. All you have to do is use your computer or mobile phone and fill up an online form. You can pay using your BDO, BPI or Coins.ph account, or via InstaPay if you don’t have BDO or BPI. Your recipient will then receive a transaction code to be used to claim the money at any Palawan Express Pera Padala branch or remittance outlet.

With most financial transactions already coursed through the Internet, it’s nice to know that you can send money via Palawan Express Pera Padala to your friends and family using only your computer or smartphone. You don’t even need to install an app. As long as you have a working Internet connection and an online banking account, you use send money online to Palawan Express Pera Padala.

Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) can also use Palawan Express Online Padala to remit their hard-earned money to their family and loved ones back home in the Philippines. The only requirement is that the sender must have a Philippine bank account or a Coins.ph account.

In this article, we’ll teach you how to send money via Palawan Express Pera Padala in the comfort and convenience of your home.

Palawan Express Online Padala Step-by-Step Process

Before you proceed with Palawan Express Online Padala, make sure that you have a BDO or BPI bank account or a Coins.ph wallet.

If you don’t have a BDO or BPI account, you can still send money using your online banking account as long as it supports InstaPay. InstaPay allows you to transfer funds online to a different bank.

Step 1: Go to the Palawan Express Online Padala website

First, open the Palawan Express Online Padala website in Google Chrome or any web browser. Click the “PROCEED TO PADALA” button.

Read the transaction limit and payment reminder. The minimum amount that you can send to Palawan Express online is ₱1,000 per transaction, while the maximum is ₱5,000 per transaction. You can only send a maximum of 2 transactions per day.

Click “CONTINUE” to proceed.

Step 2: Enter the sender details

Now enter your (sender) details as follows:

  • Mobile number – Enter your 11-digit cellphone number.
  • First name
  • Middle name – Check “No middle name” if you don’t have one.
  • Last name – Your family name or surname.
  • Date of birth – Enter in MM/DD/YYYY format. For example, October 20, 1990 is 10/20/1990.
  • Nationality – This should be Filipino unless you’re a foreigner.
  • Email address
  • Address
    • Unit, house number, building and street name
    • Barangay or village
    • Province
    • City or town

Check that your personal details are correct and accurate, because there’s no step to review your information after proceeding to the next step. However, you can still go back to the previous step to make any changes.

Click the “NEXT” button to proceed.

Step 3: Enter the receiver details

Next is to enter your receiver or recipient details:

  • First name
  • Middle name – Check “No middle name” if you don’t know the receiver’s middle name.
  • Mobile number – Enter the receiver’s 11-digit cellphone number.
  • Relationship with the receiver – In the dropdown box, choose your relationship with the receiver, such as family, friend, trade/business partner, etc.
  • Purpose of transaction – Select the purpose or reason why you’re sending money, such as allowances/household expenses, gift, debt payment, etc.
  • Accepted payment options – Choose from any of these payment options:
    • BDO
    • BPI
    • Coins.ph
    • InstaPay

After choosing your payment option, enter the amount to transfer (₱1,000 to ₱5,000).

Take note of the transaction fee. You must include the transaction fee in the total amount to pay.

Check that the receiver’s details are correct and accurate, and then click “CONTINUE.”

Step 4: Make the payment

It’s time to make the payment using the payment option you’ve selected. Read the instructions carefully on how to make the payment.

If you selected BDO like in this example, login to your BDO online banking account and make a fund transfer to the provided destination account. Don’t forget to enter the “Remarks” code as well. You can read this article to learn how to transfer funds from your BDO account.

The same process applies for BPI, Coins.ph and InstaPay. Just make an online fund transfer to the destination account provided by Palawan Express Online Padala.

After completing the fund transfer, get the payment reference number and enter the last 8 digits of the reference number. The payment reference number is usually sent to you by email or text message.

Finally, click “MARK AS PAID.”

Click “CONTINUE” to proceed. Otherwise, click “CANCEL” to edit your transaction details.

You will receive a one-time password (OTP) on your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click “SUBMIT.”

If you didn’t receive an OTP after a few minutes, click “RESEND OTP” to generate a new one.

Step 5: Claim the money

Congratulations! You have successfully sent money to Palawan Express Online Padala. Save or copy the tracking number. Use this tracking number if you have any questions or concerns regarding your transaction. The tracking number is not the same as the transaction code which will be used to claim the money at a Palawan Express Pera Padala outlet.

Wait for the text message containing the transaction code. You will receive the text message after 1 hour for BDO payments and 4 hours for BPI. If you sent the money after 4:00 PM, the transaction will be processed on the next business day and you will also receive the SMS notification on that particular day.

If you have not received the transaction code after the said time, send an email to [email protected] and provide your tracking number.

Your recipient will also receive the text message with the transaction code, so you don’t need to send the code to him. To claim the money, the receiver must visit the nearest Palawan Express Pera Padala branch or remittance outlet and bring along the transaction code and a valid ID.

Your receiver has up to 30 days to claim the payout. If unclaimed, the amount minus the remittance fee will be returned to the sender’s bank.

Conclusion

It’s really easy and convenient to send money to Palawan Express Online Padala. You no longer have to go to a Palawan Pawnshop branch and wait for your turn, when you can just send money through the Internet.
