How to Transfer Money From PayMaya to GCash
Open the PayMaya app and login using your password. Tap “Bank Transfer” on the home screen.
From the list of bank transfer options, scroll down and choose “GCash.”
Enter the following payment information:
- Amount – Enter the amount to send
- Purpose – You can write “fund transfer”
- Account Number – Enter the GCash number of the recipient
- First Name – Enter the first name of your recipient
- Middle Name – This is optional
- Last Name – Enter the last name or surname of the receiver
- Recipient Mobile Number – Enter recipient’s number to send him a text notification
Tap “Continue” to proceed.
Review your payment details and if everything is correct, press “Send.”
Enter the one-time PIN or OTP that was sent to you via text. In most cases, PayMaya will detect the OTP and automatically enter it.
Tap “Proceed” to go ahead with the transaction.
Congratulations, you’ve just transferred money from your PayMaya wallet to a GCash account. You will receive a text message confirming the transaction. Take note of the reference ID in case of dispute or complaints. You can also take a screenshot of the transaction details for future reference.
