Are you a member of the Pag-IBIG Fund? If you haven’t registered to Virtual Pag-IBIG yet, now is the right time to do so. With a Virtual Pag-IBIG account, you can easily manage and keep track of your savings and loans using your computer or smartphone.

The Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) – or more popularly known as the Pag-IBIG Fund – gives millions of Filipinos the opportunity to buy their dream home through affordable housing loans. Pag-IBIG members can borrow up to ₱6 million with a maximum loan term of 30 years and an annual interest rate of as low as 5.75%.

Aside from housing loans, Pag-IBIG members can also start saving for the future by making voluntary contributions to the fund. But how do you know how much you’ve already saved? You can visit the Pag-IBIG office to inquire, of course, but what if there’s a better and more convenient way to do it?

That’s where Virtual Pag-IBIG comes in. Introduced in December 2019, the system offers an easy, efficient and hassle-free way to transact with the Pag-IBIG Fund through the Internet.

What is Virtual Pag-IBIG?

Virtual Pag-IBIG is an online platform that allows members of the Pag-IBIG Fund to conveniently access their savings and loan records using an Internet-capable device such as a computer or smartphone.

With your Virtual Pag-IBIG account, you can perform any of the following transactions:

  • Register to be a Pag-IBIG Fund member,
  • View your regular savings and contributions,
  • Check your Pag-IBIG MP2 savings,
  • View your housing loan records,
  • Apply for Pag-IBIG housing loan or short-term loan,
  • Check the status of your loan application,
  • Apply for a benefit claim,
  • Pay your contributions and loan amortizations online, and
  • Many more.

Mind you, it’s not absolutely necessary to register to Virtual Pag-IBIG. You can still apply for a housing loan or pay your contributions online even without a Virtual Pag-IBIG account, as long as you’re an active member with a Pag-IBIG MID number.

However, if you want to keep track of your Pag-IBIG savings and loans, then we recommend signing up for a free Virtual Pag-IBIG account. The entire registration process is done online and you don’t need to visit the Pag-IBIG office to activate your account.

How to Create a Virtual Pag-IBIG Account

Before creating your Virtual Pag-IBIG account, make sure that you know your Pag-IBIG Membership ID (MID) number and you have a passport or two (2) valid IDs. If you don’t know your Pag-IBIG MID number, read this article to learn how to recover it.

Step 1: Open the Virtual Pag-IBIG website

On your browser, open the Virtual Pag-IBIG website at https://www.pagibigfundservices.com/virtualpagibig. You can use either your computer or a mobile phone because the website is mobile-friendly and responsive.

Dismiss the “Data Privacy” statement window by checking the box (“I have read about the Data Privacy Statement as well as the Pag-IBIG Fund Privacy Policy…”) and then clicking “Proceed.”
